Today, Kurt and I spent a couple segments opening the phone lines and just asking, “What are we willing to do to change the outcome of mass shootings?” We got a number of calls willing to accept universal background checks, a few mental health reforms, but surprisingly some focused on family dynamics. We obviously can’t legislate parents to be good. We can’t legislate stupid. These individuals need to held responsible for their actions. Whether their parents spanked them too much or too little is of no consequence. There are more people who have lived those circumstances and been good citizens then those who kill people. We would love to continue to hear your thoughts. We would all love a solution(s) before it happens again let alone in our own backyard, or school, or church, or involving our own loved ones. The call here took us by surprise. Please comment and share your thoughts.
