BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Authorities are warning residents about a scam caller pretending to be a member of the Burlington Police Department.
Police say they have gotten reports of a caller telling people they have an outstanding warrant and asking for money. Police warn people never to give out personal information over the phone or to pay money because of a suspicious call.
