RANDOLPH, Vt. (WCAX) – The Vermont State University Randolph campus has opened a new manufacturing center.
Monday, officials showed off the new equipment to manufacturing companies.
The center is part of the Vermont Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative. It is available to any size business to work on prototypes, test and create.
“Helping manufacturers understand what this resource is by getting to show it to them in person is a really special part of why this is really special,” said Melissa Bounty of the Central Vermont Economic Development Corporation.
The Advance Manufacturing Collaborative teaches and pays students of all ages to work in the facility.
Coming up on the Channel 3 News at 11 p.m., our Jessica Tara shows off more of the equipment and how it’s helping those land jobs in her full report.
