FRANKLIN, N.Y. (WCAX) – The New York State Police and the attorney general’s office are investigating the death of a Franklin County inmate.
The sheriff says a 32-year-old woman was found unresponsive in her bed early Sunday morning at the Franklin County Correctional Facility.
The sheriff says initial findings do not point to foul play. Authorities are waiting on toxicology reports.
The name of the inmate has not been released.
