ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital is looking for people to join their new Patient Family Advisory Council.
The volunteer council was set up to engage with the St. Johnsbury hospital to help improve patient care and give advice on future projects.
The hospital’s Jillian Knight says the idea is to attract people from different backgrounds and perspectives to elicit patient feedback. “It’s great because as health care professionals, we don’t always think about certain things that maybe a patient is going to see, what their perspective is because we are so busy. So. this is a great way to just have that patient perception readily available,” she said.
The council already has six members and the hospital is looking for six more.
