BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Residents near Burlington’s airport will be hearing the F-35s a bit later than normal for the next two weeks.

The Vermont Air National Guard says they will be conducting night flights as part of their ongoing mission to enhance readiness and proficiency.

Week one of night flights began on Tuesday and will run through Thursday. Week two begins on Tuesday, January 16th, and will run through Thursday, January 18th.

The two takeoff and landing periods are between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. with no morning flights scheduled.
