BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Investigators say she was paid by a Vermont man to torture kids in a gruesome sex crimes case. Now, Moraima Escarlet Vasquez Flores will remain in federal prison.

The Venezuelan woman pleaded guilty to a child sex abuse charge after making a video of it.

Investigators say she was hired by Sean Fiore, of Burlington, to record the abuse and torture of the child for him. Fiore is currently serving a 27-year prison sentence. He also paid her to torture and murder a man and record that, too.

Flores was sentenced Thursday to a little more than seven years in prison on the child sex crimes charge.
