BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont health officials earlier this month released the results of a report on how the state’s EMS system is working.

EMS systems around the state have faced numerous issues in recent years including chronic underfunding and difficulty in attracting staff and volunteers. At meetings around the state this fall, state officials gathered feedback so that lawmakers better understand the challenges and find potential solutions.

Cat Viglienzoni spoke with the health department’s Will Moran bout some of the key findings.
