Vermont Asylum Assistance Project welcomes new director

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The Vermont Asylum Assistance Project has a new director.

VAAP is a statewide organization that recruits, trains, and mentors lawyers to provide humanitarian status seekers in Vermont with no-cost legal services and support.

Darren Perron spoke with Jill Martin Diaz about the organization and its work.
