ESSEX JUNCTION, Vt. (WCAX) – Fairies and fencers went all out for the 7th Annual Winter Renaissance Faire.
Held at the Champlain Valley Expo, the faire has a little bit of everything, from craft booths selling clothes, to drawings and jewelry. Hardcore visitors can check out monster masks and handmade swords. Lots of food and drinks are on tap for visitors as they watch the latest archery match.
Tracy Crocker and Ellen Baker of Saint Albans couldn’t wait to dress for the occasion. “I think it’s really cool that we can get these bigger events in such a small state like Vermont, and I wanted to see what all the fuss is about,” they said.
The festivities continue Sunday with sword fights, singing, and a magician.
