BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A recreational feature on Burlington’s waterfront could be getting a facelift.
The Moran frame is the bones of the old coal-fired plant that was decommissioned over 30 years ago. In 2022, it was reopened as a recreational destination on the shore of Lake Champlain.
Since its opening, the city has hosted events like movie nights at the Frame, but changes could be on the way.
Burlington Mayor Weinberger announced what he calls a striking new concept for the area a after 6-month public engagement and design process. That design will be revealed on Thursday.
