At around 2:00 Tuesday afternoon, VSP received a call from someone reporting that they’d discovered possible human remains in a wood line near Barry road in Fairfield. Responding troopers located a body in the woods.
Police say the body was found near the area of Castle and Menard roads, where police have conducted extensive searches for 59-year-old Timothy “Timmy” Jettie of Fairfield, who has been missing since December.
