LEBANON, N.H. (WCAX) – An open house and grand re-opening are happening at the Lebanon Opera House on Wednesday.
The facility at Lebanon’s City Hall has been closed for the past five months for a complete renovation. The organization has raised $3.8 million out of its $4.2 million capital campaign to make the overhaul possible.
The opera house is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and officials say the improvements will help keep the theater viable for the next century. “We are really kind of the anchor of the creative economy here in Lebanon and so it’s really important that this space be suitable for our current audiences and artists but also those who are still to come,” said the organization’s Joe Clifford.
The open house will conclude with a dance party with DJ Sean.
