NEWPORT, Vt. (WCAX) – Students in Newport had an extra special Valentine’s Day this year.
First grade teacher Amy McCoy started a classroom project called ‘I Love The World’, and through a post on Facebook, asked for Valentine’s letters from all 50 states.
The post blew up, getting much more attention than McCoy anticipated. Not only did they get letters from all 50 states, they also got letters from Germany, Mexico, The Netherlands, St. John, St. Lucia, The Bahamas, Ontario, Quebec, and Australia.
