CONCORD, N.H. (WCAX) – Jury deliberations have started in the case of a New Hampshire father charged with killing his young daughter.
Police believe Adam Montgomery killed Harmony, 5, in December 2019, but she wasn’t reported missing until nearly two years later. Her body has never been found.
Adam Montgomery, 34, faces charges including second-degree murder and abuse of a corpse.
Tuesday, one of Montgomery’s friends testified that he hated the little girl “right to his core” because she reminded him of her mother.
The defense rested its case Wednesday morning and both sides delivered their closing arguments.
The jury began deliberations Wednesday afternoon.
