HAVERHILL, N.H. (WCAX) – A Milton man has been sentenced to at least three years in prison in connection to a New Hampshire car crash that killed his two daughters in 2021.
The Caledonian Record reports that Jordan Couture, 39, pleaded guilty to negligent homicide on Tuesday. Prosecutors say Couture was driving under the influence of drugs when his truck rolled his pickup truck on I-93 in Littleton. His daughters, 7-year-old Kelsey and 10-year-old Kyriana were not wearing seatbelts and were thrown from the vehicle. They died at the scene while Couture suffered only minor injuries.
In addition to the drugged driving charge, authorities say Couture’s license was suspended.
