
MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Improvements are on the way for Montpelier water lines.
This week, the City Council approved a 10-year plan to replace water lines in need of repair and to fix other problems throughout the water system.
The plan prioritizes replacing older water mains with new piping and upsizing in certain areas to meet fire protection requirements and usage levels.
The overall cost of the plan is estimated at $10.5 million.
