BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The organization Collaborative Divorce Vermont is offering free consultations in March to anyone interested in learning more about a more efficient and less stressful divorce process.
Typically, people see divorce as a trigger to financial and emotional strain, but folks who opt for the collaborative divorce process try to resolve their issues out of court. Collaborative Divorce Vermont is offering free consultations from March 4-8 as part of a growing national movement called Divorce With Respect Week.
Cat Viglienzoni spoke with Rebecca Ruid and local attorney Nanci Smith about collaborative divorces and how can people tell if the process is right for them.
