KILLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A few more Vermont towns are asking residents if they want to add cannabis dispensaries.

Vermont law requires towns and cities to ask residents before allowing local retail sales.

This Town Meeting Day, voters in Killington, Cavendish, Ryegate and Highgate will see the question on their ballots.

About 75 Vermont municipalities have approved retail sales.
