BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The company that processes state Medicaid payments to pharmacies should be back online soon, according to state officials

A ransomware attack late last month at Change Healthcare has affected Medicaid billing and care-authorization portals across the country, including Vermont.

Vermont state officials say things should be back to normal for most pharmacy services and electronic payments should be back online by the end of this week. While services are being restored, officials say to still expect some technical issues and delays.
