BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Saint Patrick’s Day spirit was on tap in downtown Burlington.
Red Square went green, a crowd in shamrocks and kilts filling the cozy space. They sipped drinks and bobbed to a live performance by the Joe Moore Band. It was one stop in a weekend-long celebration for local running group Von Tramp Hash House Harriers.
“Yesterday we actually ran around Burlington in green dresses raising money for Girls on the Run Vermont, and today is our kilted pub crawl,” runner Danielle Rand explained.
Everybody’s Favorite Irish Drinking Songs Band and Dave Mitchell and Friends also took the stage. Visitors filtered in and out, with lots of fun to be had at bars across Burlington.
