WESTVILLE, N.Y. (WCAX) – Police arrested a North Country man after a drive-by shooting in Westville.
It happened Wednesday shortly after 3:30 p.m. on State Route 37.
New York State Police say Ian LaRock, 24, of Malone, used a BB gun made to look like a handgun to shoot the victim’s car multiple times, as well as a nearby uninvolved vehicle and then fled the scene.
Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police later stopped the suspect’s vehicle and LaRock was arrested.
Troopers say LaRock was charged with assault, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief. He was held for lack of bail.
Police say the shooting is still under investigation.
