BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont elementary and middle schoolers will have their spelling skills under scrutiny at the Vermont State Spelling Bee.
The spelling bee will begin at 3 p.m. at Middlebury College on Thursday.
27 schools are sending three finalists each from grades one through 8, and the winner will head to the Scripps National Bee in Washington D.C.
