Driver cited in Burlington pedestrian crash that injured juvenile

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Police have cited a driver in connection with a pedestrian crash that injured a juvenile in Burlington.

It happened Tuesday at about 8 a.m. on North Avenue at Poirier Place in the city’s New North End.

Burlington police say a juvenile was hit in the crosswalk.

The child was taken to the UVM Medical Center. We don’t know their condition.

Police have now cited the driver of that vehicle, Robert Miller, for negligent operation.
