MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – The Community College of Vermont will offer two new certificate programs this fall to prepare students for in-demand careers, including one focused on artificial intelligence.

One of the new CCV programs is in data analytics and AI, the other is in manufacturing.

The new studies join the college’s 24 existing certificate programs. CCV officials say most of the certificates can be completed in one year.

“Enrolling in a certificate program can be a great way to advance or get started on a career,” CCV Academic Dean Deborah Stewart said in a statement. “Most of the courses are discipline-specific in order to prepare students for the particular work they’ll be performing.”

The fall semester starts Sept. 3. Enrollment is open now for summer and fall.
