
ST. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) – A wanted fugitive from New Jersey was arrested Thursday afternoon in St. Albans.
The Vermont State Police say Taevon Williams, 28, was trying to hitchhike on I-89 around 4:15 p.m. and reportedly throwing objects at passing southbound cars.
He was arrested by troopers for violating parole with charges including unlawful possession of a weapon and aggravated assault.
He’s due in court Friday afternoon.
