BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Burlington Police say one person was arrested following a drug raid at an Old North End apartment complex early Friday morning.
It happened around 6 a.m. at 123 North Street. Police say state, local, and federal authorities carried out raids at three separate apartments — units 4, 9, and 10 — related to ongoing drug activity.
They say evidence of drug distribution and a firearm were seized and that Aldwayne Gadson, 49, of Burlington, was taken into custody for multiple outstanding warrants.
The Chittenden County Sheriff’s Department carried out various evictions following the raid.
