BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A Morristown man faces charges after police say he attacked another person with a machete in Burlington Monday night.
Burlington Police say they responded around 7:30 p.m. to a fight near College Street and South Winooski Avenue. They say Russell Taylor, 41, attempted to strike another person in the head with a machete. There was no reports of injuries.
Taylor was charged with aggravated assault. Police also say he was in violation of curfew and had an active warrant for his arrest.
