BRADFORD, Vt. (WCAX) – EV charging in the Upper Valley is getting easier thanks to a federal program.
Members of Vermont’s congressional delegation will join state and federal officials at a ribbon cutting Tuesday morning in Bradford for the state’s first fast chargers under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program.
Four chargers have been installed at Denny Park on South Main Street in Bradford. They can simultaneously charge 180 kilowatts an hour. That comes on top of two 50-killowat fast chargers at the site already.
Vermont is the sixth state in the country to install the NEVI fast chargers.
