BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The Young Tradition Festival back in the Queen City. Hosted by the Vermont Folklife — the annual event celebrates young artists and multi-generational relationships in diverse music and dance communities. The festival provides opportunities for youth and families to become involved in traditional music and dance from Vermont’s communities. On Sunday — all ages had the opportunity to join in the fun at a family-friendly jam session and dancing.
“The youngest generations are welcomed to be a part of these, and they get inspired to be a part of this tradition,” Ian Drury of Vermont Folklife said.
Organizers say over 300 people attended the three-day festival throughout the weekend.
