RUTLAND, Vt. (WCAX) – This week marks Police Week, and the Rutland City Police Department is honoring fallen officer Jessica Ebbighausen this Wednesday during the 43rd National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service in Washington, D.C.
There will also be a candlelight vigil held on the National Mall later that evening.
Back here at home, the dedication of “Jessica’s Corner” at Justin Thomas Memorial Park is being held on Friday at 10:00 a.m., and at 4:00 p.m. the same day, the Rutland City Police is holding another memorial service outside of city hall.
