WASHINGTON, D.C. (WCAX) – Another plea to the President from lawmakers in disaster-impacted states for more funding.
Senators Sanders, Welch, and 9 others are urging the Biden administration to re-evaulate and re-submit its request for supplemental disaster funding.
In a letter, the lawmakers say that funding is essential to help people in these states move forward and rebuild.
The letter comes as Congress is reviewing requests for funding priorities and as communities across the country are still trying to get back on their feet following natural disasters.
