
WINOOSKI, Vt. (WCAX) – Police arrested a man after a reported break-in at a home in Winooski.
It happened Sunday at about 7 p.m. on West Center Street.
Winooski police say they got a call that a man with a gun forcibly entered an apartment.
The suspect ran away when police arrived. Officers eventually found the man in a nearby home. They identified him as Abdullah Mohamed, 22, of Ohio.
Police arrested Mohamed and he faces charges including burglary, aggravated assault and possession of a stolen weapon. He was held without bail and is due in court on Tuesday.
Police say no one was injured.
