SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – South Burlington Police say they’ve arrested a woman who allegedly stole a bike and bit its owner.
It happened last Tuesday afternoon on Hadley Road. They say that when the bike’s owner tried to stop the theft, the suspect fought and bit them.
Police say they arrested Kerstan Martin, 24, of Winooski, Monday while she was walking on Kimball Avenue. She was arraigned Tuesday on assault and robbery charges. Police say she also had an active arrest warrant in New Hampshire. She is being held on $5,000 bail.
