MERRIMACK COUNTY, NH. (WCAX) – Police say a pilot is recovering after the helicopter he was flying crashed at a residential property in Merrimack County.
It happened a little before 1p.m. Saturday.
Police say the initial investigation shows the helicopter pilot lost control near a landing site, and crashed into the property.
Police say though the pilot was injured, he was conscious, breathing and alert.
Rescue crews took him to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment.
Police have not yet released the pilot’s name.
