Authorities ID victims in Charlestown fire

CHARLESTOWN, N.H. (WCAX) – New Hampshire authorities have identified the names of two people who died in a mobile home fire in Charlestown Thursday.

The New Hampshire Fire Marshal says Hope Schraer, 36, of Enfield, and Allen Ballou, 38, of Royalton, died from smoke inhalation.

The 911 call came shortly after 7 a.m. Thursday for smoke coming from the mobile home on Crown Point Drive. Both Ballou and Schraer were found inside.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
