RANDOLPH, Vt. (WCAX) – Enrollment is up at Vermont State University. University officials say the school is on track to welcome a larger class this coming fall than last year. They aren’t yet sure exactly how large because students have until August to enroll.
Officials say with more applications, there’s a nearly 14% increase in accepted students, leading to about a 2% increase in deposits over last year.
In a statement, Vermont State University Interim President David Bergh said: “Given the challenges families faced with the FAFSA this year and all the changes that came with our unification, which cannot be understated, to be where we are at this moment is a great sign for our future. We are so excited for the fall semester ahead.”
