Stefanik still ‘honored’ to serve at Trump’s VP

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) – Speculation over who will be former President Donald Trump’s vice presidential pick continues to heat up as the Republican National Convention inches closer.

According to national reports, Trump’s team has sent vetting material to a handful of hopeful candidates, including New York Congresswoman Elise Stefanik.

During a stop in Plattsburgh Thursday, Stefanik again said she is ready to serve. ”President Trump understands that he knows that I am a fighter and that I stand up very strong for my district and for the America first movement every single day. I would be honored to serve in a future Trump administration in any capacity, I’ve said that for over a year,” she said.

The RNC kicks off in Milwaukee on July 15, four days after Trump’s sentencing in the hush money case in New York.
