BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The nation’s most advanced fleet of weather satellites is about to get an update.
The new satellite, named GOES-U, was set to launch late Tuesday from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. It will join the fleet that helps keep us safe here on the ground and in space.
Cat Viglienzoni spoke with NOAA’s Dan Lindsey about the mission.
