WOODFORD, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont State Police are investigating a death on Notch Road in Woodford.
They say troopers were responding to a complaint that a car had been parked in a pull-off of the road for over two weeks. When officers arrived, they found one person in the car deceased.
The body was transported to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Burlington for an autopsy.
The identity of the person found is still unknown and the investigation is ongoing , but they say the death is not suspicious and they do not believe there is a threat to the public.
