FAYSTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Police have cited a Fayston man after an explosion last week that injured him and another man.
Vermont State Police say Joseph Heim, 47, and Abdulbary Sirajuddin, 22, were setting off homemade explosive devices in a field in Fayston.
They say one of those devices exploded in Sirajuddin’s hand, causing serious injuries to both men.
Investigators found evidence of explosives being made in Heim’s home. He was cited on charges including possession of a destructive device and use of explosives.
