DERBY, Vt. (WCAX) – Outdoor facilities in Derby are getting a facelift.
Local and federal leaders broke ground on the Derby Park Project this week. The area in question has basketball and tennis courts that are in need of repair.
The project will convert acres of unused land into a new park with new basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts, walking paths, and picnic tables.
Money for the upgrades comes from community project funding secured by Senator Peter Welch.
