KILLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Killington is getting some upgrades thanks to federal money from the Department of Transportation.
$25 million is going to the town of Killington for a host of projects from pedestrian accessibility to addressing stormwater and runoff issues.
The funding is from the Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity – or RAISE – grant program. The program is earmarked for communities to rebuild aging or unsafe transportation infrastructure.
Construction on those projects is estimated to start in June 2026.
