STOWE, Vt. (WCAX) – Federal and state officials will travel to in Stowe on Tuesday to assess flood damage from the June 23rd storms.
The outcome of the assessment will help determine if damage in Caledonia and Lamoille Counties qualifies for a public assistance disaster declaration.
That declaration would provide 75% reimbursement to communities for local storm damage repairs.
An assessment already done by the state estimates infrastructure repair costs to be more than $1.5 million.
