St. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) – This week’s Pets with Potential are two cats and a dog waiting at Franklin County Animal Rescue for their forever homes.
Eclipse is a 2-year-old kitty who shelter staff describe as the life of the party. They say he’s extremely friendly, curious and playful, and loves to chase his toys and love up on his humans. He would probably do best as the only cat in the castle, they say.
Next is Abbie, a 4-year-old kitty who staff say can be quite affectionate. They say when she’s in the mood, she loves attention and will climb up to snuggle and be brushed. When she’s not in the mood, she can be a little persnickety. So, she would do best as the only cat in a home without kids or other pets.
Finally, meet Grizzly, a 6-year-old wirehaired pointing griffon. Staff say he’s a smart boy who loves to stay busy and benefits from a consistent schedule. They say he is working through some anxieties and positive reinforcement training. He’s made great progress and can be very sweet and lovable. He’ll do best in a household free of kids and cats with owners who are committed to helping him stay active and trained.
