BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Summer storm season is definitely here. If you’ve found that your roof or something else needs repairs, experts say it’s important to make sure you choose the right contractor.
Paula Fleming with the Better Business Bureau urges people to do their research before embarking on these costly projects. She says don’t just choose the cheapest, make sure your pick is properly licensed and registered with your state if the industry deems that necessary.
“We want to make sure that your money is going into reliable, credible and ethical business hands,” Fleming said.
