BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A woman faces charges after allegedly driving drunk on the wrong side of the road with children in the car.
At just before 9 p.m. on July 13, police got reports of a wrong-way driver on US-5 north of Fairlee.
Citizens stopped the car and when troopers arrived they found 37-year-old Rachael Rich of Thetford.
Police say she showed severe signs of being drunk and was driving on the wrong side of the road with five children in the car.
She was charged with her second DUI as well as 5 child endangerment counts. She will be in court at the end of the month.
