BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A South Burlington man who was out on probation for a shooting in 2021 is back behind bars.
Police in Burlington say Bonide Badibanga, 22, is one of multiple suspects who robbed and assaulted two people on Main Street in Burlington at about 3 a.m. Friday.
Investigators say the suspects stole one of the victim’s car keys, wallet and phone.
Both victims were sent to the hospital with what officers call significant injuries.
Badibanga was also charged in a separate assault and robbery that police say happened last month.
