Sen. Sanders objects the Israeli Prime Minister’s visit to Congress

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A divisive leader will be in Washington this week to address Congress, but Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders says he will not be attending.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to address Congress later this week, as part of a trip that also has a meeting with President Joe Biden on the itinerary.

Sanders says that he agrees with the International Criminal Court that Netanyahu is a war criminal for the war in Gaza and should not receive any more money from the U.S.

Sanders says he will not be attending the address.
