BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A warning from the Vermont Department of Health for anyone shopping for shrooms.
They say that the FDA and CDC are all advising against using products from Diamond Shruumz, a microdose mushroom product brand.
The agencies are investigating two deaths and more than 70 cases of illness associated with eating products from the brand including chocolates and gummies.
There are no reports of cases in Vermont.
There was a nationwide recall last month but the FDA says some products may still be for sale.
